In a recent episode of The Five, Gutfeld conveyed his sincere well-wishes to Timpf following her alarming health update. “Our love goes out to you, Kat,” he remarked, addressing viewers who might not have been aware of Timpf’s announcement.
During the concluding segment titled “One More Thing,” he took the chance to update the audience on Timpf’s condition. “Last week, Kat Timpf welcomed a beautiful baby boy, but there was also some unexpected news,” he explained.
He disclosed that Timpf had received a breast cancer diagnosis approximately fifteen hours before giving birth. “She found out just before she went into labor,” Gutfeld noted. “So, in what should have been one of the happiest moments of her life, she was confronted with some distressing news.”
Despite these challenging circumstances, there is some encouraging information regarding her health. Gutfeld pointed out that it is Stage 0 breast cancer, which is an early and non-invasive form, and that medical professionals are optimistic about her recovery.
“The good news is that it’s Stage 0, so they believe it hasn’t spread, and with timely and effective treatment, she’ll be back to work soon; she’s a strong person,” Gutfeld affectionately commented on Kat Timpf during the broadcast.
His co-host on The Five, Dana Perino, quickly concurred, adding with a smile, “She is, and she’ll be back to give you a hard time, and I’m looking forward to it.”
