Bondi Issues New Warning To Crockett Over ‘Dangerous’ Rhetoric Toward Musk, Cruz

Attorney General Pam Bondi has issued a stern warning to Texas Democratic Representative Jasmine Crockett following her series of threatening remarks directed at Elon Musk, the head of DOGE, and other Republican officials.

In an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News, Bondi accused Crockett of “threatening lives” through her comments about Musk, particularly after leftist activists targeted Tesla dealerships. She stated, “After her remarks about Elon, she claimed, ‘I didn’t mean violence,’ but her words carry weight. Following her comments about Musk, three explosive devices were discovered in Austin, Texas, where she represents. It is imperative that she unequivocally denounce this violence.”

Bondi emphasized the need for an immediate apology from Crockett, not only to the people of Texas but also to the nation and the American shareholders of Tesla, asserting that her rhetoric promotes violence. She referenced a clip of Crockett’s comments regarding Senator Cruz, suggesting that Congress may consider censure against her. “People fail to learn from their actions. She is leveraging her public platform to gain followers and enhance her prominence while endangering lives. Her statements regarding Tesla put individuals at risk. This is America, a free country, yet she is inciting violence. Consider the potential lives endangered in Texas today due to her words and actions. Furthermore, she did not stop there; she continued her attacks on Senator Cruz. An immediate apology and a denunciation of violence are essential,” Bondi concluded.

The attorney general further criticized Crockett’s rhetoric, asserting that the far-left representative is inciting “further insurrection” despite having been previously cautioned to “tread very carefully.”

It is noteworthy that some individuals invoke the First Amendment while expressing animosity towards Elon Musk for exercising his rights under the same amendment. However, it is important to recognize that words can have significant repercussions, and caution is essential. We remain unaware of the full extent of her statements and actions, Bondi remarked.

She further emphasized the necessity for an immediate apology and a clear denunciation of her remarks, especially given that violence has erupted in her home state following her comments. This situation is perilous, and she must understand the risks involved, particularly as she appears to be inciting further unrest on her birthday this weekend.

Crockett faced criticism last week for her remarks during an online event titled “Tesla Takedown,” where she stated, “All I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down.” Recently, there has been a surge in attacks, vandalism, and doxxing incidents targeting Tesla employees and owners.

In a related incident, several vehicles were set ablaze at a Tesla service center in Las Vegas last week. Spencer Evans, the special agent overseeing the FBI office in Las Vegas, indicated to reporters that the incident “certainly has some of the hallmarks” of a terrorist act, although it is premature to draw definitive conclusions. The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force is currently investigating the matter.

When asked how Democrats might secure victories in Texas, a predominantly Republican state, Crockett responded, “I believe in taking a strong stance; I believe in being aggressive.” She continued, “It’s Ted Cruz we’re talking about. This individual needs to be confronted directly, without any pleasantries. You have to go all out against him.”

In reaction to her comments, the White House’s “rapid response” account on X labeled Crockett as “another unhinged Democrat inciting violence.” Crockett has maintained that her calls to action are “nonviolent” and pertain to a figurative “fight” for democracy.
