The images, which are aimed at Trump and his administration, have been generated on social media
Social media users have been poking fun at US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance by creating AI-generated images of them.
The online mockery intensified after Trump’s recent tariff announcement, which, coupled with the ongoing trade dispute with China, has sparked a wave of AI-generated depictions of the president and his administration.
The uproar began a few weeks ago when Trump unveiled a new series of global tariffs, calling it “Liberation Day.”
“We’ve waited long enough. April 2, 2025, will go down in history as the day American industry was reborn, the day we reclaimed America’s destiny, and the day we began to ‘Make America Wealthy Again,’” Trump declared.
The trade conflict between the United States and China has intensified in recent weeks, with China now facing tariffs as high as 245 percent, while Beijing retaliated with its own tariff increase of 125 percent.

Amid the mounting tensions between the two nations, several AI-generated videos featuring President Trump have surfaced across social media platforms.
As reported by the Daily Mail, one Chinese content creator produced a satirical version of the “Song of MAGA,” poking fun at the political climate.
Another video, shared on the TikTok account @axiang67, depicts AI-generated factory workers engaged in manual labor, accompanied by traditional Chinese music playing in the background. The clip seems to offer a playful commentary on the ongoing trade conflict.
“Make America great again~#tariff #america,” the caption reads.
In the video, each worker appears to be exhausted and unhappy, sewing garments on machines and building smartphones.

As the video concludes, the slogan “Make America Great Again” flashes across the screen.
Viewers quickly interpreted the AI clip as a satire targeting the tariffs, suggesting it mocked the idea that manufacturing jobs might return to the US under the current administration.
Other videos have also aimed at Vice President JD Vance, with several portraying him wearing makeup, one even dubbing him “eyeliner man.”
One content creator clarified that their criticism was directed at the Trump administration, not the American people themselves.
In a separate video, AI-generated images show Trump, Vance, and Elon Musk working on a production line, assembling shoes.
Dressed in matching blue jumpsuits, the “MAGA squad” appears hard at work, attaching black laces to sleek black sneakers.
The clip’s irony lies in the fact that a significant portion of shoes sold in the US is imported from China, highlighting the paradox of the trade war.
Devlin Carter, the founder of SIA Collective, which manufactures shoes primarily in China, explained to NBC News: “Small businesses like mine have to pay these tariffs, and it’s not a small thing. It’s a lot. So there’s no way to see this as a positive for anyone. It’s all unnecessary.”
Pepper Harward, CEO of Oka Brands, which operates a factory in Georgia, shared similar concerns with Footwear News, stating, “The footwear ecosystem doesn’t really exist here. Everybody’s interested in US manufacturing, but very few are fully committed or have strong reasons to make those investments.”
