My husband wouldn’t take pictures of me on vacation – his reason sparked my revenge

Traveling to Mexico was like a dream that finally came true. My husband, our two kids, and I were ready to have an amazing time together, and just thinking about it made me so happy. But when we got there, my husband started acting in a way that made me doubt how he felt about me. He wouldn’t take any pictures with me, which was really confusing, and finding out the truth was heartbreaking.

As soon as we landed in Mexico, I was sure we were going to have the best time ever. Just days before our trip, I found out that I had inherited money and property from my uncle, and I was planning to share the news with Luke while we were on vacation.

But then, his refusal to take pictures with me made me feel uneasy.

Whenever I asked him to take a picture, he would respond with, “Not right now, Hannah,” or “I’m not really feeling like taking pictures at the moment, maybe later.”

It was odd because snapping a quick photo only took a few seconds, but Luke didn’t seem to want to take that time for me.

This continued for days, and then one day, he left his phone on the bed, unlocked, while he went to take a shower.

I felt like I was invading his privacy, but I really needed to find out why Luke was acting this way.

One day, I saw a message in the group chat with my husband’s friends. He wrote, “Can you believe it? She still wants me to take pictures of her, even with her weight. Where would she even fit in the photo? She’s changed so much since having the baby.”

Those words hit me hard. I never knew my husband felt that way about how I looked.

Without thinking twice, I snapped a picture of myself and shared it online with the caption, “Am I really so unattractive that my own husband doesn’t want to take my picture?”

Soon enough, I got a ton of supportive comments and messages.

When Luke came out of the bathroom and saw my post, he acted like he had no clue why I did it. So, I reminded him about the messages he sent to his friends.

“Just so you know, I inherited my uncle’s house and stuff, so I’m moving there and breaking up with you,” I told him.

I couldn’t stay with someone who thought I looked gross.

Once he found out about the inheritance, he started saying sorry, but I could tell he was just worried about the money.

I packed my bags, took my kids, and we left, leaving Luke behind. I’m not sure what the future will be like for me and my kids, but I know I deserve better than being with someone like Luke.
