Streaming and YouTuber Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has vowed to track down the man who attacked her and fellow content creator Cinna (Brittany Lynn Watts )during a live broadcast.
The terrifying incident, which took place at Santa Monica Pier during their “Sis-A-Thon” streaming event, forced them to cut their stream short and seek safety after the man became aggressive.
The event — that was also filmed with fellow content creator, Emiru (Emily Schunk) — was meant to be a fun and engaging live-streaming marathon, but came to a sudden and shocking halt on March 2 when an unknown man approached the group.
At first, there wasn’t much call for alarm since the man — said to be called ‘Russel’ — merely asked for a photo, of which Cinna responded “Yeah of course”.
However, it was then when he re-appeared 20 minutes later in different clothes that events took a darker turn.
After Emiru refused to give him her phone number, the man became hostile, following them and eventually threatening them before making a lunge toward them. At that moment, their broadcast cut out as they scrambled to find security and police assistance.
Fans of the streamers were left worried after the abrupt end to the stream, but the pair later reassured their audience on social media that they were safe, although they were very much shaken from the ordeal.
In the aftermath, Valkyrae has made it clear she’s not letting this go, stating that she’s putting everything she can into identifying the attacker.
During a stream the next day on March 3, she said: “He is still out there but I am investing as much as I can to find this guy”.
“If you have any information, I would like it. We are going to find him and I am going to do everything I can to get this guy”, she added.
Cinna echoed these sentiments, revealing that they have strong evidence suggesting the man knew exactly who they were. On top of that, there are images of his face from the live stream that could help authorities identify him.
While the attack itself was horrifying, new details about the moments afterward paint an even more unsettling picture. The streamers were forced to take refuge inside a store, hoping to evade the man who had been pursuing them.

In the clip, a visibly emotional Cinna explained: “I think when we went into the store, he backed off because it was a lot of people, so we don’t know where he was, we didn’t know where he went”
“We had to hide in a shed for 15 minutes until the cops came”, the YouTuber further stated.
Valkyrae, reflecting on the experience, didn’t hold back when describing just how terrifying it was. She admitted: “It was terrifying”.
To fully convey the fear they felt in the situation, she then said: “We didn’t know if he was still around or if he’d changed.”
The incident has sparked serious concerns within the streaming community, with many of Valkyrae’s fellow content creators urging others to take safety precautions when doing IRL (in real life) streams. High-profile streamers are now advocating for hiring personal security to prevent similar situations in the future.
With Valkyrae determined to find the man responsible, the case remains ongoing. Fans and streamers alike are keeping a close eye on developments, hoping that justice will be served.

Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa has released the full footage of the violent March 2025 home invasion where a group attacked the controversial streamer and left her covered in blood.
Amouranth has shared the complete footage, saying that it’s to raise awareness and to prove the robbery’s legitimacy to those who claim she’s lying.
The 31-year-old has previously boasted that she can earn upward of $15,000 just for streaming while sleeping, while she also earns up to $2 million a month from her OnlyFans. As part of her fortune, Amourant has over $20 million in Bitcoin alone.
It’s thought that this is why she was attacked on March 2, with Amouranth explaining: “Was at gun point they gave me phone and said log in with gun to my head and I tweeted because calling would be a death sentence.”
She added: “I believe I shot one of them, they wanted crypto is what they were yelling they pulled me out of bed.”

Amouranth now makes her fortune streaming on Kick (Kick)
Amouranth was allegedly pistol-whipped and ended up being hospitalized, although four teens have now been charged in connection to the attack.
Posting on X, Amouranth said: “I wish I didn’t have to prove that the worst night of my life was real. Too many people still think I made it up – I really wish it had been fake, or a prank.
It wasn’t.”
Saying she still has nightmares, Amouranth admits she thought she was going to die. Looking ahead, she concluded: “Now I’m trying to heal and move forward.”
Amouranth’s husband had seen her social media reporting the attack and was armed in another part of their home. Surveillance footage captures the suspects running from the scene, with one of them shouting: “I got hit, I got shot.”
The investigation culminated in authorities finding a stolen license plate and school paperwork with a name written on it at an apartment complex. A dark-colored Toyota that matched the one used in the robbery was stopped in Galveston Country, with the driver admitting he’d driven away from the scene that night.
Amouranth recently explained more about what happened and how the thieves stole her MacBook that had the ‘Find My’ feature enabled. In a bizarre turn, she traced it to the very hospital she was being treated at.
Despite Amouranth sharing the footage, some still don’t believe here. Supporting the streamer, one person wrote: “So glad you made it out of that! It’s insane how petty and pathetic people are, even with a mountain of evidence they still want to say it’s fake. So many useless haters :/.”
One skeptic added: “Noticed how the dogs didn’t react at 04:33. Because them dudes have been inside the home before. FAKE Asf. This Staged to get some publicity💯💯💯.”
Someone else concluded: “Still fixated on this, I would suggest moving on with your life. Why do you even care what Internet people you never will meet or know thinks is true or not?”
Even though Amouranth has shared the footage, it’s clear many still don’t believe her.

Siragusa is well known for her live streams on Kick, where she has been able to make around $15,000 a stream simply by broadcasting herself sleeping, and reportedly earns over $2 million a month on OnlyFans.
As a result of her popularity, the content creator claims to have accumulated a huge crypto fortune, in which has over $20 million in Bitcoin alone.
On March 2, Siragusa said: “Was at gun point they gave me phone and said log in with gun to my head and I tweeted because calling would be a death sentence.”
She went on to say: “I believe I shot one of them, they wanted crypto is what they were yelling they pulled me out of bed.”
The streamer continued: “The pummeling felt like it would never end and I protected my head by putting my arms up like I learned how to do in boxing, blood was streaming down my head and my hands where beat brown. [sic] They brought duct tape and masks and were armed with handguns.”
According to reports, the 31-year-old streamer was asleep in her home in Houston, Texas.
Her husband was in the bathroom when she heard loud noises downstairs.
Siragusa recalled how the men entered the room and attacked her before demanding cryptocurrency from her.
It has been alleged that the men also pistol-whipped her three times before Siragusa fled the room and ran to the bathroom.
Her husband then reportedly fired shots at the suspects, potentially injuring one.
The men fled the scene and four teens, aged 16 to 19, have now been arrested and charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
SWAT teams were called to Siragusa’s house to deal with the incident, and Amouranth also posted video surveillance footage of the three attackers infiltrating her home.
She went on to add that she ‘might have to remove this video later’ and that forensic teams were testing a trail of blood that had been left in her driveway.
Many people took to social media to share their support for Siragusa after the terrifying ordeal.

One streamer has shockingly been live on Twitch non-stop for the past 1,104 days.
The content creator hasn’t stopped filming her life for a live audience in just over three years.
This includes everything from sleeping to even showering.

Emily has been streaming non-stop for over three years (Twitch/@emilycc)
It seems like streamers are always trying to break records previously set by other creators.
Milestones like the longest stream or most subscribers are highly sought after.
Subathons are also common, which is where a streamer will stay live for a long period of time in an attempt to gain more followers.
For every new subscriber or donation made, time is added to the clock indicating how long the streamer needs to stay live for.
The title for the longest subathon on Twitch is currently held by a user known as Emilycc.
She has been streaming 24 hours a day and seven days a week for the past three years.
Now on 1,104 days as of writing this (November 20), Emily has the longest streak on the social media platform.
Her timer indicates that she still has another 645 hours to complete before she can log off, but this could extend as more people subscribe to her.
In second place is a streamer known as SweatyPedals who has spent over 600 days live streaming and is still ongoing.
Many people took to social media to share their shock at how long Emily has been live streaming for.
In the comment section of an Instagram video, where she shared an update about her subathon, one user wrote: “Best subathon on Twitch.”
Another said: “Now this subathon feels like a child to me and I wanna make it on as long as possible.”
A third person asked: “How do you deal with burn out? That’s amazing.”
Emily replied to the question, saying: “I’m deff burnt out but thank you beautiful. I have a caffeine addiction and nothing else to do lmao.”
A fourth person commented: “This is insanneeeeee bro.. I swear I was in highschool when I first found the stream (that was 2.5 years ago).”
And a fifth added: “At this point I don’t even believe you would end the subathon even if the timer ran out.”
The record for the most amount of subscribers was once held by Kai Cenat with 306,621 followers but has since been overtaken by Ironmouse.
The content creator has 326,252 subs which is currently the highest on the platform.
